Given how grievance artists community has been for these AI, it is very easy to understand. The tech is amazing, sure. But I think you are just not seeing the cost. If I just took on 1 million USD in debt without a clear plan how to repay it. I would not feel optimistic and imaginative about how I can spend this money. I would go into risk averse mindset.
