- hn_acker 2y agoTwo things of note: 1. Giving payment to people to directly or indirectly "induce" them to register to vote (yes, even just to register) is illegal under Pennsylvania law. 2. Anyone can sign the petition to enter the lottery, but the only people eligible for the $1 million reward are those who have both signed the petition and registered to vote. Will this indirectness allow the lottery to survive a court battle? Who knows.
