I’m not sure about anybody else, but I didn’t have a ton of friends in my area. I also didn’t have a lot of time to do anything about it. Between removing the commute and finally being forced to stop racing around with the kids, it gave me time to meet some good people right in the neighbourhood and make friends. I could see finally having time to spend sitting around gaming with friends having the same approximate effect.
