- shadowmanifold 2y agoMurray Gell-Mann - "The quality of information" lecture on youtube from 1997 is also worth a listen. Murray basically points out how much communication in general is really just exchanging errors for no reason. I suspect this is where the idea of "Gell-Mann Amnesia" came from.
