I'm working on a serverless VPN that works without relay even for those behind symmetric NAT (most of the time).
I'm not aware that it exists at the moment and would love to be proven wrong.
- udev4096 2y agoSo, like NAT punching? A rendezvous server for both the parties to communicate so they can establish a connection?
- Charon77 2y agoNAT traversal with STUN and UDP hole punching, yeah. But the idea is to use IRC for the rendezvous since they're everywhere and the payload is quite literally just external IP:PORT.
