The Great Exhibition unveils the only office roller coaster in Stockholm
- hyperhopper 2y agoPretty nothingburger article aside from the headline and pictures. What is the top speed? How do the workers cross the track of the coaster that spans both sides of a hallway? What are the impacts on office traffic? The article mentions that there were challenges that they overcame, but it doesn't detail any of the challenges or their solutions. Pure fluff piece. Definitely does not belong on hacker news. Clearly has only received votes because people that happen to be in the same building type on a computer sometimes.
- flemhans 2y agoThere's not even a video of the full ride! Indicating this is an art piece and not a real coaster. LET US RIDE IT
- TrueGeek 2y ago> The Frontal Lobe will be open to the public starting today, 25 October, at Lövholmsvägen 18, Liljeholmen, Stockholm
- nullhole 2y ago> How do the workers cross the track of the coaster that spans both sides of a hallway? With a great deal of risk, by all appearances.
- woleium 2y agoi don’t think the office is in use.
- kaonwarb 2y agoI tip my hat to those who did this just because they wanted to.
- yieldcrv 2y agoImpractical in every way, love it. I don't think the juxtaposition of pretending there is an office there is necessary. Its totally fine as an empty floor and exhibit.
- kylehotchkiss 2y agoI smell workers comp payments!
