Ok, I actually RTFA and it just seems like a bunch of conjecture over what the reasons might be? Nobody actually knows? And the editorial board's comments seem a bit dramatic? "It represents an abandonment of the fundamental editorial convictions of the newspaper that we love, and for which we have worked a combined 218 years" How does it represent an abandonment? These editors have been sharing their convictions for the past combined 218 years. I don't think any reader is going to ask "I wonder who the Post is going to endorse"?
