I don't get it. Why can't tech companies conspire to pay the employees minimum wage and then give the CEOs the remainder? If anything, tech CEO pay is relatively low compared to what it could be.

- s1artibartfast 2y agoSimple supply and demand. If there were enough capable SWE lined up to apply, they could - just like burger flippers. Simple economics goes pretty far explaining these simple mysteries.
