I don’t think speculating on how you think Israel would react is helpful or productive. Of course Israel would “cry and whine.” I agree with you. Obviously, Palestine also “cries and whines” — they have a narrative when their military operations are hit, too, and it’s not “fair play.” War is an ugly, awful thing. I wouldn’t expect anybody involved to treat it so rationally. Hopefully we can view things more objectively and fairly given our distance.
