I'm confused what kind of point you're trying to make and why you used the quote that doesn't have much to do with the article. Why not use this quote which is more relevant to the article: "56.7% of respondents to the 2021 Women in the STEM Professions Survey reporting gender-based discrimination, 32.6% reporting sexual harassment, 14.8% pregnancy-based discrimination, and 7.7% disability-related discrimination during STEM employment". STEM or not, women have to deal with lots of shitty stuff at work that most men don't have to deal with.
