Subject-driven image generation is challenging. It aims to capture the most informative representation of a subject. Some approaches require very costly fine-tuning, and others require encoding the reference image into an image embedding to bypass the fine-tuning cost. SSR-Encoder is a model-generalizable encoder that can guide a customized diffusion model for single subject-driven generation or multiple subject-driven generation based on the image representation selected by the text query or mask query without additional test-time fine-tuning.
