Or lower the prices for everyone. Why does Adobe Photoshop still cost a small fortune. Hasn’t improved much for the last two decades has it? Why can’t I rent it from my buddy for the few hours a month I might use it?
- threeseed 2y agoThere is a 20x difference in the price of Youtube across various countries: https://www.androidauthority.com/youtube-premium-cost-around-the-world-3410557/ https://www.androidauthority.com/youtube-premium-cost-around... The idea that every developer is going to reduce their revenue by 20x is delusional.

- anticensor 2y agoOr, take the geometric mean of all the existing prices.
- tpmoney 2y agoDoes it really cost a “small fortune”? You can “rent” Photoshop from Adobe for 3¢ an hour. Way back when you could buy a permanent license for PS, you were looking at about $700, which is just shy of 3 years at the current subscription rates.
