- ggm 2y agoPresence or absence of a watermark is going to have to be discussed and reviewed against mechanisms to either subvert or prove it's provenance. I don't have a view here yet beyond hoping some scheme can be worked out which doesn't intrude government controls on expression and the like, but which maintains a chain of trust and custody. The word chain there is cryptographic chain of trust, not blocky chains.
