I've stopped caring about Title Case vs Sentence case. What I can't stand is Someone That Capitalizes And, The, Of, And Other Articles In Their Articles.
And ALL CAPS is an absolute no-no.
- pyeri 2y agoThe benefit of sentence case is that you only need the rules of English grammar, simple and efficient. Title case is a layer above that and as you said, there is often little consensus on what should be capitalized and what shouldn't.
- wryoak 2y agoThis is wrong. Grammar does not tell you proper nouns should be capitalized, orthographic convention does, just as in German: grammar doesn’t tell you nouns should be capitalized, orthographic convention does.
