Yes, but "taping out" is still a ways from "actually exists and you can bench it."
- rwmj 2y agoThe claim in the article is that RISC-V is somehow inherently unable to compete with Arm because of all sorts of missing architectural features. Yet there are server vendors who have those architectural features already and will make chips available fairly soon. The claim in the article is just wrong.
