- bitexploder 2y agoOnly about 36% of US forests are older than 80 years old. They will grow back, but we should do our best to protect older growth forests.
- fallingknife 2y agoThat's not true. The Appalachians were basically clear cut in the 1800s.
- llamaimperative 2y agoAnd as a result they're way less remarkable than the older forests.
