We're still here because "Just Stop Oil" isn't a policy proposal, and as close as these activists get to articulating policy proposals are complete non-starters like "make driving a car illegal" or "make it illegal to fly in airplanes". Promoting more nuclear power seems an obvious start to reducing carbon emissions, but whenever anyone says that, those same activists instantly scream NOT IN MY BACKYARD!
