That's a massive can of worms that no web standard has yet opened. Snark all you like, it's reasonable to think we shouldn't open that can so casually.
- jaffathecake 2y agoI agree it's new and different, but I disagree that it needs a whole new framework. Whether it's synchronous or not is part of the debate. There are already things like SVG's <use> element that 'clone' content, although it's not in the light DOM. There's definitely stuff to debate here, but "this is bad. 'Reactive' should be left to frameworks" is not useful.
