YES. For crying out loud, I don't want to solve a puzzle and read at the same time. I understand your metaphor, just let me READ THE STORY. The whole "scrolling down a webpage doesn't actually scroll, it just progresses an animation" thing, ugh, it's a neat concept but I never loved it. The expected behavior of the page is changing. It's... novel but it took too long to get to the point.
