When you say "more convincing" who are you referring to? Remember, the goal here is not a $500 smart phone. The goal is a smart phone that can sell in emerging markets for a price a fraction of what a new iDevice or top-of-the-line Android phone goes for.
- fauigerzigerk 14y agoSamsung for instance. They make devices for all price ranges but they have the capability to make really good ones as well. Handsets aren't exactly the strong suit of AlcatelLucent or ZTE.
- wmf 14y agoIt seems likely that an all-HTML OS will be slower than Android, so either Mozilla phones will cost more than Androids or they'll just be slow. I don't see any way to make B2G cheaper than Android, which is already free.
