I think that is just a cop-out born out of fear of rejection. If you don't want to connect with anyone, that is fine. I doubt that you can't.

- anal_reactor 2y agoYes, I'm afraid of rejection, but not of being rejected, but rather of spending my time rejecting people instead of doing something pleasant or useful.
