"could break the guarantees" is a weak guarantee then.
- josephcsible 2y agoIt's still a guarantee. The point of the guarantee isn't that no code can cause certain kinds of problems, but rather that any code that can must be marked unsafe.
- dzaima 2y agoBasically any guarantee can be broken by an evil guaranteer. All this is saying is that this is a case of the user being required to uphold a guarantee, instead of the stdlib/language.
