- rmason 2y agoA little bit of background. This is a ColdFusion open source project. For a couple of decades there has been an open source CFML project from Switzerland called Lucee. Though I am not sure they'd agree I have always viewed Ortus as the Laravel of the ColdFusion world. They have introduced another open source CFML engine called BoxLang which is still in beta. They are correct that although both CF engines support websockets they are not very easy to implement and thus rare in the CF world. You will hear more in the future about BoxLang as it was built to support multiple languages.
