Ah, maybe this is what’s happening to me.. I use Firefox with uBlock origin, privacy badger, multi-account containers, and temporary containers. Whenever I click a link to another site, i get a new tab in either a pre-assigned container or else in a “tmpNNNN” container, and i think either by default or I have it configured to omit Referer headers on those new tab navigations.
