I recently started programming in. Can somebody summarize what it means? (I currently pass -std=c99 parameter).
- stefanos82 2y agoThis paragraph is directly taken from phoronix: > Preparations are now underway to set the default C language version of GCC to GNU23 as the GNU dialect of C23. Or in other words, implying -std=gnu23 when no other C standard is specified. In other words, if you don't pass `-std=c99` yourself, the compiler will default to `-std=gnu23`.
