The new Kindle paper white may finally get me to upgrade … but also maybe not. I have a 10+ year old Kindle Paperwhite (I think first gen). I use it daily and it’s still just nearly a perfect device. It’s withstood rough treatment, battery life is still ~2 books long, and it has never been made obsolete by a software update. No other electronic device I’ve ever bought has had this kind of longevity and it’s not even close. Cool to think that if I do upgrade now that $159 will probably get me to 2035.
