- pvg 2y agoThis is an interesting wikipedia page - if you poke around, it looks like it's effectively the work of a single author who decided this should be a wikipedia page for whatever reason and then made it happen. A kind of vanity page but not (seemingly) a self-related one. It's not at all clear from googling that this general term is widely used in English for this very specific thing, developed and researched by what appears to be one key researcher. Maybe chemistry people know/can say more? It was someone's career, clearly, but most people's careers don't have or need Wikipedia pages. Where did you come across this?
