If it is a foreplay to WW3, China has already rehearsed how to capture Vilnius from Belarus territory, it won't be a fight for just Taiwan or S.Korea, but Europe and Africa as well. It doesn't have to be nuclear though, M.A.D. still stands if Russia and China start to share their nukes, which isn't as implausible in the future.
