I work in open source. I would not pull the kind of bullshit Matt has pulled. Matt is not some poor underfunded open source developer. He's the CEO of a company with thousands of employees. What Matt is doing is trying to effectively remove open source components of wordpress from the market so that he can sell them. He's already co-opting other peoples work and taking control of it (e.g. AFC). I think you should look into the facts of the matter before deciding that I'm "confused".
