The thing that I don't get about the silly Tesla robots is that we literally had the same in the 2000s. It was funnily enough also made by a car manufacturer. It was the Honda ASIMO. Optimus is at best a slightly better ASIMO. What makes it better enough to make it exciting when ASIMO stalled?
