Excuse me for being OOTL: what "WP Engine checkbox"?
- deleted 2y ago[deleted]
- Crosseye_Jack 2y agoThey added a checkbox to the wordpress.org login page https://login.wordpress.org/ https://login.wordpress.org/ stating "I am not affiliated with WP Engine in any way, financially or otherwise.", you can't login to the site without checking it.
- chx 2y agoAnd very importantly: no one knows what that checkbox means and what are the consequences of checking it.
- jeltz 2y agoAnd Matt has refused to clarify when asked about it.
- duskwuff 2y agoIncluding in the (rather common!) context of developers who maintain sites hosted on WPE.
- throw16180339 2y agoMatt also bans anyone who asks about it.
- anakaine 2y agoYou must agree on sign up that you're not affiliated with WP Engine. WP has been having a spat with WP engine.
