- ChrisMarshallNY 2y agoIt also generally means someone who is militant about others not drinking. Not a pleasant name. Me, I don't drink, but don't really care, whether or not anyone else does (unless they are driving).
- lukan 2y agoI don't drink either and theoretically, I also don't care what other people consume - but in reality I would love to have more sober (dancing) parties, with people who lerned to have fun and can dance, without needing to shoot themself up before. As drunk people on the dancefloor are quite annoying and even dangerous. ("Ecstatic dance" is a new trend that captures this clear, but wild party sentiment, that I love)
- nitwit005 2y agoThe reason you haven't heard it is because it's more of a historical term from the temperance moment.
