i thought about this also but then there is this recent science that the body of a office worker uses the same calories as someone doing body work. saw it on kurzgesagt. so by this theory humans should be very energetic even with only the baseline
- ck2 2y agoI only burn 80 calories when running a 7 minute mile but the average person uses a lot more if they are untrained. The office-worker uses the same calories as a workout because they have no fitness and their heartrate is sky high even at idle.
