- chairmansteve 2y agoIt is definitely a lot worse among my acquaintances these days. I am in my late 50´s. Many people people I know of my generation are addicted to conspiracy theories and spend a lot of their lives thinking about them, following influencers etc. This was not the case for these people in the past. The one thing a lot of them have in common is a high degree of isolation, presumably leading to a lot of time on the internet.
