At least not until LLM gains hit a wall. So far every open weight model has far surpassed the previous releases at the same model size.
- danpalmer 2y agoBut closed models are clearly slowing. It seems reasonable to expect that as open weight models reach the closed weight model sizes they’ll see the same slowdown.
