Ask HN: What are your favorite subreddits?
For those of you who use Reddit, which subreddits do you frequent the most? I'm curious to know which communities you find valuable or interesting!
- blackeyeblitzar 2y agoHonestly the subreddits that are for politics from different sides that aren’t just the dominant Reddit community on r/politics. Like conservative, libertarian, communist, whatever. You understand them a lot better by just hearing from them and seeing what they see. The big subs feel more unhinged once I stopped demonizing those other groups.

- BrenBarn 2y agoOne that I came across a few months ago and was unexpectedly charmed by is /CannedSardines . A fun little niche interest, lots of good vibes, some useful stuff like recipes. One time a user even bought up a huge load of higher-end sardines that went on deep discount at a local store, then shipped some to others on the forum to share the bounty.
