My biggest fear is they deprecate a standalone build mode which allows you to host app on your own server, and you will be left with running in Vercel or just build a static app. It is already very complicated to build app with many dependencies, and to manually manage the dependencies included in the build is nearly impossible. For example, if you want to update the production db after you deployed the app, including the prisma ORM cli not very straightforward.
