Lasers could take broadband where fiber optics can't
- avidiax 2y agoIf the unit price can come down to ~$1,000, this could be useful for WISPs. Imagine an apartment building or set of condos getting 10gbps to share. This would be a great end-run around the wireless/telecom/cable companies, albeit with some of the same problems as WISPs.
