At this point I have to assume that this is willful. You are continuing to ignore things that have been addressed by both myself in my last comment and the article. I invite you to read the article more deeply and look into the actual research backing these UI patterns if you are genuinely struggling to understand.

- jdiff 2y agoAnd I'd advise against thinking that you that you have thought of things within 5 minutes that, inexplicably, researched, data-backed experts have missed so easily. That's a mindset that does not lend itself to intellectual growth. In almost all cases, it's not just so obvious that the experts in a field are so misguided. It's that there is complexity and depth that is not perceivable at a glance.
- eviks 2y agoThe army of "researched, data-backed experts" behind you is imaginary. So instead of repeating the same appeal to an imaginary authority I'd advise you cite a single good UI research study where a slower site-specific shortcut is better that a more common faster one when "time is of the essence" (and whatever else you think is based on "expert research")
