I disagree with this premise entirely.
A product owner is the conductor of the symphony.
Unless you have a team of experienced senior engineers, the engineers will lack the perspective and wisdom to make the proper choices.
- ibejoeb 2y agoSurely you've worked with a product owner who's invoked one of those "I'm not technical, but..." I don't know of any working conductors out there who predicate their directions by "I'm not very musically inclined, but..."
- imwillofficial 2y agoI have been fortunate to only work with technical product owners, or ones wise enough to listen to the more technical when deciding a path forward.
