- danpalmer 2y agoThey might have been licencing third party software that can't be migrated in this way due to contractual limitations. I imagine the simplest technical solution is for the leasing company to acquire the whole business entity. That may even be what they are trying to do in court.
- magicalhippo 2y agoThey're not buying the company though, just a bunch of cars as I understood it. At least several other people have bought Fisker cars as well, perhaps that's where the issue arises. At the very least, it sounds like a problematic privacy and legal issue for regular Joe to have his car suddenly send data to some "random" third party, without his consent.
