I used to be in the 90th percentile in my area 2 years ago. Then AIv2 (rebranded as genAI, LLM) pumped with VC money via low interest pushed my TC to 70-75th percentile. I could start chasing the $ again, but at this point I’m nearly financially independent and can almost just say fuck it.
