I read anything I could find in the SF and fantasy section in the library, and much of the children's/YA section as well. Classic speculative fiction was (and is) amazing. To this day I am still amazed by the universes created by Andre Norton, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and others. The D&D Player's Handbook, and basically everything on its Inspirational Reading list.
