Ask HN: Starlink Competitor Without Musk?
Is there anything on the horizon (or over it...) that might compete with Starlink for internet access?
It seems like a wonderful, revolutionary service, and Musk deserves a lot of credit for his part in making it real. But I find his Twitter shenanigans and spiraling descent into politics to be pretty disturbing and don't really want to support his companies.
Will there be any alternatives anytime soon?

- inemesitaffia 2y agoIn what space? There's several satellite providers in GEO, MEO and LEO that compete with SpaceX already. Did you think SpaceX invented SATCOM?
- getwiththeprog 2y agoThere is https://oneweb.net/ https://oneweb.net/ but they only sell through other comms companies (like Telstra in Australia)
