Plugin development is currently not supported but planned in the long term. I decided to finish basic useful plugins and distribute Smartclip with a set amout of features, to see where it goes. I will include Plugin development in the long run, depending on the feedback and usage. As Smartclip is a hobby and I've worked on it in my freetime for many months on end, I decided to protect my work. I don't make money with it and published it as a useful tool for developers. It provides multiple features that are not available by Albert and Flow Launcher, even without providing plugin support at the moment. Its main functionality is a clipboard manager, that is similar to launchers, but not the same. If there is functionality missing right now for it to be a useful product to you, I would very much be interested in that feedback. If you are just one of those people that read the license and drop it, only because its not open source, then please move on.
