We get it, you don't like PHP. Don't use it. Nobody forces you to use it... If someone does, it's most likely a client, and that's nobodies fault but your own for seeking clients that want PHP work done. And if that's the case, you shouldn't be scolding PHP for keeping food in your mouth and a roof over your head.
But yes, we get it, you don't like it. Move the fuck on. These "This is what's wrong with PHP" articles are starting to get redundant... Everyone shouting in to a empty cave that nobody cares about.
- zeemonkee2 14y agoWell, we all need to eat, and if you want to do web dev, and 90% of web dev jobs in your area are PHP... So yes, PHP may put food on the table, but if it's the only tool you get to use professionally (without having to start your own company) then you are pretty much forced to use it. Hence the hate. Now I get to use other tools, I just don't care.
- gfosco 14y agoHe's really one to talk.... ASP.NET is so amazing, right?
- Killswitch 14y agoAll languages have their purpose, use the one you want and prefer. I'm getting sick of people bashing other languages because they don't like it. Especially people who have never really used the language...
- SideburnsOfDoom 14y ago> ASP.NET is so amazing, right? ASP.Net MVC version 4. Yeah, actually I'd say that it is. But YMMV. All I'd say is avoid commenting on frameworks that you don't know much about.
- eip56 14y agoI agree with Killswitch. Stop talking crap about other languages and create something awesome with what you know!
