I am curious to see how all this plays out. I am not a developer but have played some with chatGPT to write some simple python. It has done an OK job. When it works it is sometime easier than other cut and paste methods. That is a long way from replacing those that know what they are doing (even at a junior level). On the other hand I remember hearing the old electrical engineers saying "you do not need a microcontroller for that. Just use a resistor and capacitor, or a 555". As an aside, is my Firefox spell check worse? Are they getting ready to replace it with a LLM?
