Show HN: Created an app to mix calendar and TODOs in one list
was using todoist and calendar, constantly switching between them, decided to implement my own spin on it in react native
- danielkrajka 2y agoHi all, just wanted to share wat I'm working on, any feedback appreciated
- uticus 2y agoLove the idea
- gregnavis 2y agoReminds me of calendar integration in Things 3.
- enagymo 2y agoNice idea, do you plan to add any filters/tags? So I can add categories like "Personal" / "Work" and easily switch between them
- danielkrajka 2y agoyeah, I plan to add a bunch of features once the app is available in Google Playstore. Some of the ideas: - filtering / searching - assigning TODOs to projects (tags) so you can group them - e2e encrypted data backup for some small monthly subscription (so you don't lose data) later on, if there's enough demand, I plan to create iOS and web versions
- two_handfuls 2y agoOne point of feedback: it's not clear from the webpage what happens if you put a todo on Monday and then don't do it. Will it still be in your list of to-dos on Tuesday? Will it have vanished?
- danielkrajka 2y agothanks for the feedback - I agree, I should explain better how the app works. Right now it shows up on the next days with an "overdue" label
- perite 2y agoI like the minimalist look of the app and how quick the input method is! One bit of feedback, It's not immediately clear what text is supported for setting time and date (e.g. sep 26, 09/26 (US), 26/09 (other regions). Maybe adding a "?" button somewhere in the input section would help with that?
- danielkrajka 2y agogreat idea! something like a cheatsheet of all the options available
- robofanatic 2y agoNice app! Where is the data stored?
- danielkrajka 2y agolocally, if there's going to be enough demand for it, I'm thinking of providing e2e encrypted backup
