He was born in 1989, died in 2014. Not sure how he died at 20?

  The title is incorrect. The age of 20 is significant because that's the maximum age the parents were told that he would live > He may, his parents are told, live to be 20 And later... > The years pass. Mats’ 20th birthday comes and goes The story of his death follows shortly after that line. I'm guessing the title author (usually not the same person as the story author) misunderstood that line, and it wasn't caught during proofreading
