AI still has some problems

Adapted from a recent post on social media: Sitting in my lounge in <European Country>, and I ask Siri to turn off the dining room light. She responds, from the HomePod in front of me, that this is done. The dining room light is not off. I repeat the instruction. It claims the light is off. It is not. Finally, I open the home app and press the button. The light goes off. Then I get a text from my friend, 2000km away in <Town in England>: Is someone trying to do something with dining room lights? Yeah ... the AI revolution will not happen soon, because to call AI thick as pig 5#17 is to be insulting to pig 5#17.
